This beauty has been with us for several weeks and she’s now up to date on her vaccinations, tested heartworm negative and scheduled for her spay this coming Thursday.
She’s less than a year old and she has the puppy energy for someone who would love to do activities with their dog. Xena would love an active owner to go on long walks/runs, hikes, playing fetch etc.

Oh how Chase is just the most adorable Jack Russel/ Chihuahua mix! This love bug is 2yrs old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Chase is a very sweet boy and dog friendly. He would do better with dogs bigger than him. He loves to play with his foster buddy who's a Golden Retriever! Because he can play rough (typical Jack Russel) other little dogs might not like his play style. Chase is true to the Jack Russel breed with having a lot of energy. But once he gets some exercise he settles right down. We will require a fenced in yard for Chase so he can run around. Also, if you're a walker, that's a great way to get a dogs energy out!

Holly is wondering where her forever family is. She's a sweet puppy going on around 5 months old. We think that Holly is a Dutch Shepherd mix or maybe a Cattle dog mix. Holly would love an active family with a fenced in backyard, that would give her the appropriate amount of exercise and training. She's not terribly hyper, but puppies need exercise. And just look at those ears! Currently Holly weighs 25lbs and is just the cutest girl ever! Poppy was found wandering a neighborhood malnourished with scars and scratches on her face. She is now with a loving foster and has gained weight and is learning to trust humans. Poppy has received heartworm treatment and has been cleared of hw infection. We will require Poppy's new home to have a fenced-in backyard. Poppy seems to calmer with other dogs of her size or larger and does okay with feline friends. She has displayed a major fear of men, probably from a rough past, so we feel a female companion is best suited for Poppy.

Oscar is an adult terrier mix weighing in at 13 lbs. This scruffy sweet little boy is house trained but not a fan of a crate. He enjoys walking on a leash and playing fetch. Oscar loves attention and being loved. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. Oscar is not a fan of children and is toy aggressive with his foster dog siblings. He is fine with other dogs unless a toy is involved. Oscar is a one-person dog and needs an experienced adopter to work with him on meeting new people.

Little Shug is a sweet Chihuahua mix. She's 1yr old. spayed, 10-12lbs, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. In typical Chihuahua fashion, she can be shy. Shug is a lot shyer than her sisters. Chi owners will know what we're talking about. She will need much more socialization. You just have to have a little patients with her. Shug is dog friendly and enjoys playing with her foster siblings. A fenced yard is a must for Shug.

We at Pawsitive Impact Dog Rescue are not strictly dedicated to just rescuing dogs, as every once in a while along comes other walks of life...Meet "Treasure". She is a 16 year old, 'flea bitten grey' color, Anglo-Arab mare available for adoption. Treasure is 15.2 hands high and absolultely NOT a beginner's horse. She spent most of her life as a beautiful pasture ornament and is NOT broken for riding, although she leads easily and behaves well for farrier and vet. She requires an experienced partner, as she is highly sensitive, but is sound, a lovely mover, and with patience and proper training, would be a nice riding horse. Treasure will stand all day to be groomed and gets very attached to her handler. She is an easy keeper, barefoot, and is up to date on all shots, farrier work, and deworming. She gets along well with her herd mates and is especially attached to donkeys. Lets face it, who wouldn't love a donkey!? Treasure will NOT go to anyone as a "project horse" and will only be adopted to a forever loveing home with a contract stating that she is not to be sold and will return to rescue if for any reason her partner would need to part with her.
